I am a multidimensional artist based in NYC. My large-scale, near wall-sized, paintings convey a wide range of expression of human emotion and personality through fanciful, cartoon-like animals and characters. In sculpture, I make these characters three-dimensional and am now exploring transferring my graphic images into body art, and bringing them to life in animated works with real-world issues. Being a transgender man has expanded the range of human experiences that I investigate in my work. Painting

Characters
In my paintings I attempt to capture the wide range of human expression through a series of interwoven characters. I like to use playful, dream-like imagery to try and express the fluidity and non-linear nature of human consciousness and perception.
Growing up I was inspired by the work of Keith Haring, by graffiti artists, and by cartoons. People say that my characters are quirky and I like that each character expresses an individual emotion and personality.

COLLAGE
In my collages, I explore the way that my brain works and what it's like to be in my head. I incorporate imagery and ideas from science, animals and nature, sexuality, gender, and spirituality. I am inspired by psychedelic art. I am also attempting to explore the fluidity of dream-like and other altered states of consciousness. |
Animation
My animations attempt to explore playfulness and humor in art, but also explore greater social issues such as the COVID-19 pandemic. |
sculpture
With my sculptures I attempt to capture the wide range of human expression and emotion through animals and fanciful, imaginary characters. |
Body Art
The larger than life characters and highly graphic nature of my work make it uniquely suited for transfer to tattoos and body art. I welcome opportunities to develop characters and imagery for clients or re-orient characters developed in my current work. Below is an example of a drawing and resulting tattoo. I look forward to my next body art commission. |
